What a coincidence. My co-worker and I have been enjoying games of frisbee in Justin Herman Park during lunch for the last few weeks. Today, for the first time, we were kicked out along with a pair of business men who were playing bocce ball. All around us were homeless people sleeping and groups of assorted ne'er-do-goods consuming drugs and alcohol. The ranger targets us and kicks us out citing a "sign which clearly says no games". We found the sign, which happened to be the same sign you identified and told him that it seemed not to prohibit frisbee or bocce ball. The ranger told us to leave again so I called SF Parks and Recreation who told me that we /could/ play frisbee. I've been kicked out of 4 parks for frisbee playing in the last few months now and I'm getting pissed off about it. They are more worried about getting sued than actually keeping anyone safe. I'm mad as hell and I'm going to start going to Parks and Recreation meetings to let them know.
